Meet Sarah Duncan
Whatever you are, be a good one. - Abraham Lincoln
Hi — I’m Sarah Duncan
Coach. Guide. Listener. System-builder.
I help students, adults, and families who are capable but overwhelmed build clarity, confidence, and steady forward momentum — without pressure, perfection, or shame.
At On Course Family Coaching, we believe growth doesn’t come from hustle — it comes from structure, direction, and support that fits your life and values.
On a Personal Note
I’ve been happily married to my husband, Luke, since 2023, and we’re awaiting the day God gifts us children of our own. We both serve in ministry through teaching and counseling within our local congregation in Lancaster, California. I’ve lived and traveled through multiple states, I enjoy the refreshing salty breeze of the ocean, find solace in the deep quiet of the forests, and enjoy the space and expanse of the desert.
I enjoy creating things and making resources for educators and school counselors to aid in their students growth through my Teachers Pay Teachers Store: Life Between Bells. Today, I dream of being able to own a home, living in alignment and in step with the Holy Spirit, seeing the wonders of the world, homeschooling future kiddos, and supporting my husband in his future pastoral duties. Helping people is what I do.
Abiding - Trusting - Growing.
My coaching journey began long before I ever started a business — it began in classrooms and counseling offices. I spent nearly a decade in the Public Education System as a Teacher’s Aide and later as a Professional School Counselor for grades K–12, primarily supporting middle school students. I continue to hold my School Counseling credential through the CTC and am a proud member of both the American School Counselor Association and the California Association of School Counselors.
During that time, I saw something over and over:
⭐ Smart, motivated students struggled not because they were incapable — but because they lacked direction, systems, and someone walking alongside them.
⭐ Families wanted connection and growth — but felt stuck in conflict, inconsistency, or overwhelm.
⭐ Adults carried pressure quietly, knowing they were meant for more, but not sure how to get there.
That lit a spark in me — and I knew there was a way to serve beyond the classroom.
So I created On Course Family Coaching LLC — where capable people get the support they need to move forward with confidence, clarity, and purpose.
What Coaching With Me Actually Looks Like
Coaching isn’t therapy — it’s forward motion.
It’s not about fixing what went wrong — it’s about creating what comes next.
Together, we build:
Clarity — What matters? What’s next?
Structure — Systems and rhythms that reduce overwhelm
Skill — Tools for organization, follow-through, and resilience
Confidence — Believing you can meet your goals
Whether you’re a student balancing school demands, an adult navigating life transitions, or a family wanting deeper connection and calm, coaching helps you build a life that feels possible — and fulfilling.
My Approach
✅ Calm, practical, and action-oriented
✅ Focused on your progress, not perfection
✅ Built for people who are capable but overwhelmed
✅ Grounded in clarity and consistent forward steps
We slow urgency so you can build momentum.
Why “On Course”?
Being “on course” doesn’t mean life is perfect.
It means you can see where you’re going, know what to do next, and feel supported while getting there.
That’s the heart of coaching. Coaching isn’t about checking boxes — it’s about building skill, identity, and confidence that lasts.
You don’t have to figure it all out alone —
you just need the right guide, the right structure, and a clear path forward.
