Coaching to create stronger families
Life Coaching
Answering the 5 W’s
-
Life coaching is a good fit if you are:
Feeling overwhelmed, scattered, or mentally overloaded
Navigating a transition (career, season of life, family changes)
Struggling to make decisions or follow through consistently
Carrying pressure to “have it together” while feeling unsure
Wanting clarity, direction, and structure — not therapy
Many clients come to coaching saying:
“I know I’m capable — I just can’t seem to get out of this stuck feeling.”
That’s exactly where coaching helps.
-
Life coaching is not about fixing you. It’s about supporting you forward.
Together, we focus on:
Clarity — What matters most right now?
Direction — Where are you headed?
Structure — What systems and rhythms support your life?
Follow-through — How do you move from intention to action?
Confidence — Trusting yourself and your decisions
Coaching helps turn mental overload into manageable next steps.
-
All coaching sessions are held virtually, making it easy for you to connect from home or work. Sessions are private and flexible, using video calls for open, comfortable conversations.
What Coaching Sessions Look Like
Sessions are calm, focused, and practical.
In coaching sessions, we may:
Clarify priorities and goals
Identify what’s creating overwhelm or stuckness
Break big decisions into doable steps
Build routines that support consistency
Reflect on growth and adjust direction
This is a collaborative process — you are not told what to do.
You are guided, supported, and encouraged as you move forward. -
Enrollment for Couples & Parent Coaching is open year-round.
New clients typically begin at the start of each month after a Discovery Call and intake session. You can choose from 3-, 6-, or 12-month packages depending on your goals and preferred pace of growth.
-
Coaching works because it strengthens what life tends to wear down — communication, patience, and shared purpose.
Clients often experience:
Greater clarity and peace of mind
Improved follow-through and consistency
Reduced overwhelm and mental noise
Increased confidence in decision-making
A stronger sense of direction and purpose
Through honest conversation and faith-centered guidance, coaching turns tension into teamwork and helps you find direction that honors both God and others.
Life Coaching vs. Counseling
Life coaching is not therapy.
Coaching:
Is future-focused and goal-oriented
Centers on skills, decisions, and direction
Supports growth, clarity, and momentum
The coach and client relationship is a partnership
Counseling:
Addresses mental health, diagnosis, or healing past trauma
Typically, the counselor is seen as the authority
My background as a school counselor informs my approach, but life coaching stays focused on present challenges and future progress.
My Background
My work as a life coach is shaped by both professional training and years of experience supporting people through seasons of pressure, transition, and growth.
Before founding On Course Family Coaching, I spent years as a K–8 school counselor, walking alongside students and families as they navigated academic stress, emotional overwhelm, and changing life circumstances. That role required deep listening, steady presence, and the ability to help people move forward without judgment or urgency.
In addition to my counseling background, I am participating in formal coach training through Professional Christian Coaching Institute (PCCI), an International Coaching Federation (ICF)–accredited program. This training grounded my work in ethical, evidence-based coaching practices that are forward-focused, goal-oriented, and centered on personal responsibility and growth.
While coaching is not counseling, this combined background allows me to:
Support complex seasons with calm and clarity
Ask thoughtful questions that lead to insight and action
Help clients build structure, direction, and follow-through
Stay focused on progress — not pressure
Life coaching allows me to do the work I love most: offering steady guidance, practical tools, and thoughtful accountability — while helping clients move forward with confidence, purpose, and alignment.
My role isn’t to tell you who to be or what to do.
It’s to help you hear yourself more clearly and move forward with confidence.
